The Aging in New York Fund, Inc., is an independent 501( c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and their families. The Fund’s efforts to create an “age friendly New York” focus on:
- Maintaining New York City’s status as the best place to grow old;
- Providing fiscal and administrative to support other non-profits providing new and/or essential services to older adults; and
- Serving as an incubator for innovative, model programs.
Since its inception the Fund has generated a variety of Legacy projects, some of which continue today. Currently, our efforts are focused on three priority programs—connecting community based organizations to the health system, improving oral health and addressing social isolation.
